As a Software Engineer in Test at test-shubham-3, you will be an integral part of the engineering team, focusing on ensuring the quality and reliability of backend services primarily developed using Django and Python. You will collaborate closely with developers and product teams to design, develop, and implement automated tests and testing frameworks. Your main responsibilities will include writing test plans, developing test cases, and executing tests for various backend components and systems. You are expected to contribute to continuous integration and deployment processes, and work with the latest tools and technologies to maintain a high standard of code health. Furthermore, your role involves monitoring the outcomes of automated tests, analyzing bugs, and working closely with the development team to ensure that they are resolved in a timely manner. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of software testing methodologies, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain robust web applications with Django/Python.
Integrate data storage solutions using databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or NoSQL.
Ensure high performance and responsiveness to front-end requests, and understanding of front-end technologies is therefore necessary.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

Requirements

Minimum 3 years of experience working with Django and Python in a backend development role.
Familiarity with some ORM (Object Relational Mapper) libraries.
Able to integrate multiple data sources and databases into one system.
Understanding of accessibility and security compliance.
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.

Bonus Points

Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, GCP, or Azure.
Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript).
Experience with Docker and containerization technologies.
